A White Wine from Central California
Rieslings come in two varieties - sweet and dry. This one is dry. That doesn't mean it's not sweet or that it's dry like other dry white wines. This particular riesling is lovely - it tastes like apples with a little citrus tossed in, but smells very floral. It's light and has a little bit of a green color to it.
Rieslings get a bad rap because most people know them as super sweet and syrupy. This wine will change your mind. It's versatile and can be served with all sorts of foods. Think about what you can do with an apple and that's about what you can do with this wine. Serve it with fruit and cheese - or better yet - get some spicy chinese stir fry or pad thai.
